Elettromeccanica Bovone Srl is a global leading supplier of flat glass and stone processing equipment for a variety of industries such as furniture, architectural, etc… The company projects, develops and manufactures equipment for edge processing, rectification and mitering of stone products as well as equipment for glass edging, mitering, beveling and washing. They also offer complete laminating and silvering lines for glass. The ongoing goal is to help customers increase the efficiency and quality of their processes while at the same time contributing to the improvement of safety and health while constantly promoting environmental respect.
The company, founded in 1954, has always had a commitment towards quality and constant innovation which continues to this day, even in the face of new challenges. The company began by developing the galvanic coppering process to protect the silver layer of mirrors, soon followed by further improvements that lead to the production of complete lines for mirror production.
In 1974 Bovone introduced a revolutionary straight beveller, able to work at speeds twice as fast as the machines of the most skilled competitors! Nowadays Bovone bevellers can work up to a speed of 10 mt/min, thus maintaining a leadership that has been unequaled for over 25 years! In the intervening years, Bovone enlarged its production range, with straight line edging machines and lines for laminated and bullet-resistant glass. Since 1974 more than 4500 machines have been sold worldwide. In 2014, conscious of developing technologies, Bovone began it’s Bovone Robotic Solutions to realize the idea of joining together robotics and edging machines. As always, pushing the technology to increase productivity for their customers now through automation. Most importantly however, the company organization has never stopped developing with Elettromeccanica Bovone being awarded with ISO 9001 certification in 2000.
